Arts Build Communities Technical Assistance
Through its ABC technical assistance efforts, the Arts Commission assists the growing number of Oregon communities that see opportunity to include the arts in community and economic development planning. Results show that the arts can play a role in community and regional development and can be used to address a broad range of issues such as neighborhood development, economic planning, educational and social initiatives and historic and cultural revitalization. Oregon Arts Commission staff is available for assistance and consultation with arts and community groups and can recommend other arts and community development resources in Oregon. Arts Build Communities Technical Assistance Team worked with the City of
Klamath Falls and Klamath Arts Council in the development of a public art
plan for downtown Klamath Falls.
