Arts Education
Section Highlights

The Oregon Arts Commission supports activities that promote arts education opportunities and life-long arts learning for Oregonians.

1st Annual Oregon Arts Education Congress
The Oregon Arts Commission will convene the 1st Annual Oregon Arts Education Congress in Portland at The Kennedy School on November 17.

The Congress will gather 100 representative leaders representing a balance of geographical and professional viewpoints for the one day Congress, which will result in a first draft “Bill of Creative Rights” for Oregon’s K-12 students.

You are invited to provide input that will ground the Congress discussions. An on-line survey is being used to identify priority issues and themes. Please take 10 minutes to complete your survey today and forward to others - as broadly as you want (as long as they are Oregonians!)
