The Oregon Arts Commission supports activities that promote arts education opportunities and life-long arts learning for Oregonians. Staet and Regional Arts Education Network partners, provide the following core services:

  • Long and short term artist residencies
  • Training for teachers, community volunteers and artists
  • Arts curriculum development
  • Develop and support arts education conferences, workshops and technology to further the field of arts education
  • Support and participate in activities that promote advocacy and awareness of arts education
  • Field contact for the Oregon Teacher Arts Institute

The Arts Education Network also provides other services specific to the needs and resources of the communities in each region.
