Brian Rogers – an accomplished painter, arts and culture consultant and the former deputy director of the Pennsylvania Council of the Arts – has been named the next executive director of the Oregon Arts Commission and Oregon Cultural Trust.
Three finalists have been named in the Oregon Arts Commission/Oregon Cultural Trust executive director search; the public is invited to meet the finalists at community forums in Salem and Portland on Monday, June 2, as part of the final interview process. An online tool for gathering feedback from participants will be shared at the forums.
Six Oregon artists will deliver special presentations about the history and cultural significance of their crafts and traditions at state parks across Oregon during the month of June.
