Oregon Folklife Network

The Oregon Folklife Network, based at the University of Oregon, was formed in 2010 to serve as a hub for statewide folklife activities in partnership with the Oregon Arts Commission, Oregon Cultural Trust, Oregon Historical Society, Oregon State Library, and Oregon Heritage Commission, along with community partners, including Oregon Tribes, community-based cultural organizations, museums, regional cultural alliances, local arts agencies, K12 schools, universities and colleges, and public libraries.

Fall Deadlines Announced for Funds for Rural, Emerging, Community Arts Organizations

The Oregon Arts Commission has set deadlines for two of its programs geared toward emerging arts organizations and those that serve rural or underserved communities throughout the state: Arts Recognition Grants Applications due September 10, 5 pm and Arts Build Communities Grants Applications due October 1, 5 pm.

Arts Services

Arts Services grants provide operating support primarily to local arts agencies that offer ongoing, sustained high quality artistic programming, services, and outreach programs in the community.
