
Living up to its pioneering reputation, Oregon was one of the first states in the nation to pass Percent for Art legislation, placing works of art in public spaces throughout the state.
Percent for Public Art Program
For 22 years, public art across Oregon has been selected by citizens in an open, democratic process that encourages dialogue. The overall collection enhances the state's public spaces and contributes to our well-recognized quality of life.
Percent for Art Collection at the Knight Library
This online database of Oregon's Percent for Art Collection is a result of a collaborative project between The Oregon Arts Commission and the University of Oregon Libraries. Funding for this project comes from a Library Services Technology Act Grant administered by the Oregon State Library.
