The Art Selection Committee for Western Oregon University’s (WOU)
Mathematics and Nursing Building is interested in public artwork that creates
a calm, pleasant and inviting atmosphere for students and staff while inspiring
discovery and joy in learning.
Budget: $20,000
Deadline: Complete applications
must be received either by mail or in the Oregon Arts Commission office no later than 5pm on May 9.

The Art Selection Committee for Western Oregon University’s (WOU)
Humanities and Social Sciences Department (HSS) seeks public artwork that
promotes unification of this multi-disciplined instructional facility, physically
and conceptually, while inspiring and engaging the imagination. The
Committee also expressed a desire to create a more inviting environment to
counter the present sterile, utilitarian nature of the building.
Budget: $21,000
Deadline: Complete applications
must be received either by mail or in the Oregon Arts Commission office no later than 5pm on
May 9, 2008
